LADY GAGA

Pop superstar and petite fashionista 5’1″ Lady Gaga has eleven tattoos including flowers on her hip, a German quote on her arm, and a unicorn on her thigh. Lady Gaga’s very first tattoo was a treble clef at the center of her lower back. Obviously music has always been a huge part of Gaga’s life. She later added a large flower tattoo beside it .

Lady Gaga has a tattoo peace sign on the inside of her left wrist as a tribute to John Lennon, one of her musical idols. She also has a large tattoo of roses that sprawls from her lower back to the left side of her waist. This tattoo was done by famous tattoo artist Kat Von D back in 2008 and it was filmed for the show LA Ink.

She got two tattoos during her trip to Japan in August 2009, one of which is “Tokyo Love” on her shoulder. Gaga got this tattoo along with a few members of the “Haus of Gaga,” her creative team of stylists and designers. The other tattoo which Lady Gaga got in Japan is actually written in German. This large text on her bicep is a passage from Gaga’s favorite writer Rainer Maria Rilke. Lady Gaga’s third tattoo on her left shoulder is a tribute to her father. In September 2010, Lady Gaga tattooed a unicorn on her thigh with a banner reading “Born This Way,” the title of both her second full-length album and its lead single. Much like Lady Gaga got a tattoo to celebrate her album “Born This Way,” she added a new tattoo in August 2012 with the title of her upcoming album “ARTPOP.” The album is due to be released in 2013.

SELENA GOMEZ

Petite celebrity singer 5’4″ Selena Gomez has two tattoos. The 20-year-old singer and former “Wizards of Waverly Place” actress has a music note on her wrist and a Roman Numeral on the back of her neck. Selena’s first tattoo was a tiny music note on the side of her right wrist. Selena got the tattoo at Under The Gun in Hollywood, CA by artist Louie Gomez on February 22, 2012.

Initial reports mistakenly claimed that the tattoo was of a heart. Her next inking was a Roman Numeral on the back of her neck, which is believed to be a tribute to her mother.

DEMI LOVATO

X Factor petite celebrity 5’3″ Demi Lovato has around eleven tattoos, depending on how you count them. Demi herself has stated the number of tattoos to be 12 — and that was before adding her latest. Her tattoos are:“You make me beautiful” on her side, A feather behind her ear,“Stay Strong” with a heart on her wrists, Lips on her wrist, A cross on her hand, Feathers on her side,“Peace” on her finger,“Rock N Roll” on her finger,“Faith” on her arm,“Let Go & Let God” on her feet, a flock of birds on her arm. Free to subscribe to Bella Petite!

Demi Lovato’s newest tattoo is also her largest. She added a flock of flying birds on her right forearm surrounding her “faith” tattoo in November 2012. There are twelve black birds with a little swirl behind them. The tattoo was done by celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D.
