This week on the Bella Petite Hour with Ann Lauren, sexy actor Jeff L. Williams shared his latest entertainment news. This year he found himself producing his first live theatre production ‘Finding The Burnett Heart’ opening this month on April 20th at the Lillian Theatre in Santa Monica. He decided to do this because he “enjoys a challenge and working without a net.”
Considering he was a former successful trial attorney before he gave it all up to follow his passion, acting, so we think he is more than qualified to take to handle both sides of the camera!
His recent television guest-starring roles this year include Desperate Housewives, The Mentalist, and Criminal Minds.
Finding The Burnett Heart
Theater 48, Inc. is proud to present “Finding the Burnett Heart” a complex family drama that explores the vital importance of unconditional love, the transformative power of acceptance, our capacity for change/growth and the true meaning of family. Written by Paul Elliott and directed by award-winning director Jeremy Aldridge, Finding the Burnett Heart features some of LA’s finest acting talents and begins at the Lillian Theatre on April 20th, 2012.
About The Show
For sixteen-year old Tyler Burnett, it’s hard enough just being a teenager, without being suddenly forced to share your room with your seventy-year old grandfather, a man who has based his entire life on making others miserable. They are a cross-generational odd couple whose dysfunction is heightened by the fact they are family, which makes for riveting drama and hilarious comedy.
Trapped together in a room barely big enough for one boy’s dream, these adversaries discover and, with great difficulty, eventually embrace the meaning of “tolerance”…that differences are a good thing…and that each generation can learn from the other.
Finding the Burnett Heart opens on Friday, April 20th, 2012, and closes Sunday, May 27th. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
