It may feel hopeless at times, but the truth is most of us have already had a traditional loving relationship, and we are looking for that feeling again. Don’t lose hope because, just as it’s happened already, it will happen again. So instead of giving into the hopelessness and developing an aversion to men, take a break pretty lady and learn to appreciate life without dating. Be friends with men instead, and laugh with your buddies.
Have adventures and embrace yourself and your life. Eventually, that special man will make his way to your life and will see the light you are emanating from all that joy, and he will not be able to resist you. He will give you the title, respect, and love you want, but first, you must give it to yourself and set yourself free from the search. This is not a job hunt or an apartment search, it’s love; a phenomenon that just happens when the time is right.
There is an article on eharmony titled, “Burned out on Dating? How to Take a Break While ‘On the Clock’” by Sarah Elizabeth Richards. I would recommend reading this as a follow up to my topic given the author’s good advice. She speaks about the warning signs that show possible burn out and paints accurate pictures of a good break plan i.e Eat Pray Love and self-care treatments. If you can’t afford to book multiple trips to Rome and Bali, I suggest a small road trip to a beautiful place.
