Next Generation Entertainment

This weeks Bella Petite Hour (with host Ann Lauren) will direct you towards some exciting new talent and new channels to explore when embarking on a career in entertainment.

The old rules of how to break into the industry simply do not apply any longer.  The internet and the economy have morphed the entertainment industry into a new undiscovered world of opportunity, and we have some fantastic guests to talk about how they are finding success!

ACTRESS MERCEDES ROSE

On the show this week is 5’4″ red-hot redhead Mercedes Rose, a working actress, full-time mom and part-time blogger of The Lazy Actor web series.  Mercedes can be seen on the web based show “Vicky Vixen” where she plays a mom “with a secret” (VickyVixen.com).  She also plays a mom desperate to find her missing kids in Train Master 2- Jeremiah’s Treasure, as well as a mysterious creature with a dark past in the webisode Animus Cross…. and she even does her own stunt work for fun!

Mercedes currently lives in Portland, Oregon, where all of her entertainment work originates, including television, film, commercials, voice-overs, internet and podcast radio work.  Buoyed by her evident talents, Mercedes is finding success and opportunity in her local regional, without ever stepping foot in Hollywood for a single casting or on location shoot.  To further her quest in entertainment, Mercedes has created a concept for a new style television show called Positive TV!

Dan Baron of Windy City Media Glam Live

Bella Petite Chicago regional director Jennifer Bollinger went on location last Thursday to check out what Glam Live events are all about.  Together Jennifer and Ann will get the 411 from Dan Baron about his events and affiliation with Mario INK.

Windy City Media produces Glam Live, a fashion event production shoot promoting Breast Cancer awareness. The evening consist of a series of high fashion shoots with extreme beauty makeovers to create avant garde looks and hairstyles.

Glam Live is a collaboration of hairstylists, makeup artists, designers, photographers and body painters working together to present an evening of entertainment while highlighting the important cause of Breast Cancer Awareness for the Y-Me National Breast Cancer Awareness Organization.

Dan Baron Producer of Glam Live and President of Windy City Media, invited Mario INK along with eleven other artists to a Glam Live promotional party where they would do on location body painting with models. “Mario was the HIT of the party,” Dan tells us, “and from that day forward Mario and I became partners and created Mario INK.  Together we created the demand for promotional body painting throughout Chicago.”
