The Perfect Way To “Pump Up” Your Holiday
When deciding what to wear to upcoming holiday parties, there’s nothing a fabulous heel can’t help you pull off! This 
seasons most trendy pumps come in all shapes, colors, and sizes, which pair will help you create your favorite holiday look?
V shaped pumps help create an elongated figure which is perfect for a petite women’s body. You can either go with a tall heel, which will give you the most length, or if you know you’ll be dancing the night away, you may want to try a smaller kitten heel. Country singer Kellie Pickler (5’1″) does this trend right.
Fashion stylist Daniel Musto specializes in styling petite celebrities like Paula Abdul and Eva Longoria. He suggests that every petite woman own a pair of nude heels because they give the illusion that your legs are longer than they are. Take inspiration from petite actress Rachel Bilson (5’2″) and see the big impact nude heels can really have on your height.
Musto also explains that ankle straps on heels are one of the greatest fashion mistakes a short women can make, saying “they cut off your legs and make you look stumpy.”
Another shoe to stay away from when rocking a petite frame is a wedged heel because they add density and weight to the lower half of your body where as a stiletto heels creates a slimmer silhouette.
Jewel tone colors, animal prints, and metallic hues are some other great styles to try out this winter. Dazzle up your look with a pair of bright heels like Kim Kardashian’s (5’2″) and you’ll be sure to stand out in the crowd!
