Originally Sarah’s budget friendly line “Bitten”, sold exclusively at the Steve & Barry’s (now defunct) department stores, is ancient history for this talented star petite with distinctive fashion flare! Parker will become president and chief creative officer of Halston Heritage, a line inspired by vintage Halston looks.
Sarah’s start up line “Bitten” has been without a home since the retailer Steve & Barry’s closings, there’s been a void for consumers searching for a fashionable, great fitting and a pocket book friendly line. In these tough economic times the fashion industry has taken a huge hit and we’ve seen many designer’s and retailer’s closing up shop. Times are changing and there is light at the end of the tunnel for 
many businesses, third quarter reports are showing signs of life in the fashion industry. Those that weather the current economic conditions, market to consumers by advertising and focus in on the petite female consumer representative of 70% at 5’5″ and under here in the United States will certainly reap the benefits!
For now it does seem unlikely Sarah Jessica Parker’s new line will reach that consumer base with her new upscale fashion designs with Halston being retailed in “Needless Markup,” oh I mean Neiman Marcus… I am sure we will be seeing a strong publicity tie-in for Sarah with the Halston Heritage Line. She has been seen wearing several of the Halston dresses during
the filming of Sex and the City 2, opening May 28. In fact many of the dresses she was featured in during the filming are available. So, if you’ve got a limitless budget, hooray for you and enjoy her fabulous designs! What’s fantastic about Sarah Jessica Parker is that she’s fashion conscious for the petite woman and being so petite. Both of her lines are designed expressly for petite women 5’5″ and under from size 0- 20P.
