We will get one on one with Babi Mac on the world of rap and Kaleigh Brooke on breaking into the modeling and acting industry.
Rap Artist Babi Mac
Our first guest up will be Babi Mac, recently featured here on Bella Petite. Check out her complete story. Babi Mac is a petite, blonde gal breaking all the standards, whether in sports playing basketball or in the music scene as an aspiring rap artist.
Currently, she is represented by Swiperboy Entertainment, an independent label. Swiperboy Entertainment’s crew features Babi Mac, Swiperboy, and Yung Q. The crew is based and performs throughout night clubs in Tennessee. Babi Macs songs “Not Over,” “Stunt hard,” and “Bad Chick, Lovin It” have received tens of thousands of positive reviews on YouTube.
According to Babi Mac, her game plan is, “to support my career aspirations by coaching basketball lessons, while continue to pursue my rap career full time. I believe it can happen, and I will not stop until it does. I know most people won’t believe in me because I am a female and white, but all my life I have proven a lot of people wrong.” This petite wonder woman has her heart and mind made up with all the right moves!
Petite Model Kaleigh Brooke
The second guest on the show is Bella Petite Magazine cover girl finalist Kaleigh Brooke. Last year Kaleigh was Supermodels Unlimited 2009 Cover Girl of the Year. Her modeling resume includes the Miss June 2009 feature for BrianX.com, an online entertainment magazine, and she was selected as MODEL OF THE YEAR by Models & Actresses International.
In addition to being the current signature model for a the hot celebrity clothing brand (Tasteless Candy Clothing, Inc.), she represents SHOWOFF Ind., a very extreme sports clothing label. Kaleigh is a working petite model and she will share her experience and thoughts with us about the current industry standards.
“Honestly, I believe when the fashion industry realizes that to sell their clothing they must begin to cater to petite curvy women, it will change. We are already seeing a change in Hollywood and I believe New York will follow when clothes start sitting on their racks! It’s all about making a profit…right? I personally will purchase an item much faster from a beautiful petite model than a tall, too thin, unattractive, gaunt model.”
Tune in live every Tuesday at 10:00 am PST on America’s Web Radio for the Bella Petite Hour (with host Ann Lauren). We welcome your questions, please leave them here for our guests to answer. You can ask us anything, we are here for you! For a complete listing of our shows click here…
