FALL Make Up BEAUTY Trends [petite fashion][beauty][make up tips]

BEAUTY TRENDS: Summer has once again come to a close.  It’s time for fall and just like the changing leaves, it is time to update your make-up wardrobe. The hot must-have look this season is a natural beautiful complexion, with a metallic pop on the eye and a very natural lip.

CLEAN CANVAS

To achieve this we must first start with a healthy regimen. Achieving a healthy complexion means cleansing and hydrating daily to ensure a healthy, clean canvas for make-up application.

APPLICATION

For the product application try using a tinted moisturizer first (this doubles as your hydration and foundation!) Finish with an oil-free, matte bronzer that has a nice blend of copper and gold tones (try to stay away from ruddy bronzers for the fall). Remember, less is more and ALWAYS use upward strokes to apply complexion products.

EYES

For the eyes there are a few different looks for the season. The hottest being a metallic copper with a deeper-set shade.  Wash this all over the lid, stopping just above the natural crease. Finish with a soft, non-metallic aqua blue liner on the bottom lash line and outer corner of the eye.

LIPS

For the lips, use a soft pink or nude gloss.  If you are going with a more dramatic eye, unless you are playing it low-key on the eyes, then plums and purples are the look for the lips this fall and upcoming winter season into 2011!

You can see a great example of a hot fall look I did in the Dalia MacPhee editorial coming soon to Bella Petite Magazine!   This fall is about understated beauty, concentrating on lips and eyes.

You can always send in your make up questions to Bella Petite and I will be glad to address them!  Stay beautiful! Ciao Bella!

  1. I did the same eyes make up on what it says. 🙂 I always keep it a simple and sweet. natural beautiful. I always buy organic make up products, much better. 🙂

  2. Okay. Bella petite I heard you are going to start a magazine soon. Here are some suggestions that could help you boost your viewer numbers.

    1. When you do your fashion portion of the magazine include woman of all sizes; women are more likely to read your magazine if you have somebody in your magazine that looks like them

    2. Speaking of looks if you showed ethic diverse models then all woman could see someone that looks like them

    3. Make-up should have tips for all races don’t just show a white person’s make up tips

    4. When you talk about hair care please include all types of hair from the straighest of the straight to the kinkiest curl. Diversity equals more viewers.

    5. When you talk about the media include all ages young and old. That way you can broaden your age appeal.

    6. That pretty much somes it up; please take my suggestions in serious consideration; thank you for your time.

    : )

  3. I love your blog.. very nice colors and theme. Did you make this website yourself or did you hire someone to
do it for you? Plz reply as I’m looking to construct my own blog and would like to find out where u got this from. appreciate it

    1. Hi Raspberry, we have a professional web developer and graphic designer build out the website using a wordpress theme. As the editor, I do not actually handle the website design I leave that to the techies! Good luck to you and your endeavors 🙂
